أطلقت بلدية جباليا النزلة، نداء استغاثة عاجل،  لجميع الشركاء والمؤسسات المحلية والدولية وكل المعنيين حول العالم، بضرورة العمل على توفير الزيوت والفلاتر اللازمة لتشغيل المولدات كونها معرضة للتوقف عن العمل بسبب منع دخول هذه المواد إلى قطاع غزة، وبالتالي توقف مضخات الصرف الصحي وآبار المياه المركزية والثانوية عن عملها، ما ينذر بكارثة إنسانية وبيئية.

وفيما يلي بيان نداء الاستغاثة العاجل:

👈 في وقت يواجه فيه قطاع غزة أزمة غير مسبوقة من انقطاع الزيوت والفلاتر الخاصة بتشغيل الآليات على اختلاف أنواعها ومهامها بسبب منع دخول هذه المواد عبر المعابر؛ فإن ذلك ينذر بكارثة إنسانية وبيئية قد يصعب السيطرة عليها.

👈 إن انقطاع الزيوت والفلاتر عن المولدات وآبار المياه المركزية والثانوية ومضخات الصرف الصحي جعلها وبلا استثناء عرضة للتوقف عن العمل، وبالتالي إمكانية طفح أحواض المياه والصرف الصحي وانتشارها في الطرقات وبين المواطنين ما يسبب تفشي الأمراض المختلفة، وكذلك يهدد بتوقف آبار المياه والذي يؤدي الى انقطاع المياه عن المواطنين.

👈 تناشد البلدية الجميع بضرورة اتخاذ الإجراءات والعمل على توفير الزيوت والفلاتر اللازمة للمولدات؛ فهي معرضة للتوقف عن العمل، ما ينذر بطفح أحواض تجمع المياه والصرف الصحي كحوض الصفطاوي الذي وصل ارتفاع منسوبه إلى 5 أمتار من عمقه الأصلي الذي يبلغ 7 أمتار، غير أن توقف المولدات عن العمل بسبب انقطاع الزيوت يضع المواطنين أمام مشكلة شح المياه وبالتالي العطش وتقييد الحياة اليومية.

👈 إن تدخلكم العاجل يساعد في تفادي حدوث كارثة متوقعة، من خلال إنقاذ المولدات وبالتالي الآبار والمضخات من التوقف عن العمل؛ بل يساهم في استمرار العمل على أكمل وجه ويحفظ استدامة تقديم الخدمات للمواطنين في ظل الظروف القاهرة.

URGENT APPEAL FOR HELP

At a time when the Gaza Strip is facing an unprecedented crisis due to the shortage of oils and filters required for operating machinery of all types and functions, as a result of the prohibition on the entry of these materials through the crossings, this situation threatens a humanitarian and environmental disaster that may be difficult to contain.

The lack of oils and filters for generators, central and secondary water wells, and sewage pumps has made them, without exception, vulnerable to ceasing operation. Consequently, water and sewage collection basins may overflow and spread into the streets and among residents, causing the outbreak of various diseases. It also threatens the shutdown of water wells, which would lead to the interruption of water supply to residents.

In this context, the Municipality of Jabalia Al-Nazla appeals to all partners and local and international institutions:

* Palestinian Water Authority

* Coastal Municipalities Water Utility

* Arab Authority for Reconstruction in Palestine

* International Committee of the Red Cross

* World Food Programme

* Action Against Hunger

* UNICEF

The municipality calls on all parties to take the necessary measures and work to provide the oils and filters required for the generators, as they are at risk of stopping operation. This would lead to the overflow of water and sewage collection basins, such as the Al-Saftawi basin, whose water level has reached 5 meters out of its original depth of 7 meters. Furthermore, the shutdown of generators due to the lack of oils would leave residents facing severe water shortages, resulting in thirst and further restrictions on daily life.

Your urgent intervention will help prevent an anticipated disaster by saving the generators, and consequently the wells and pumps, from ceasing operation. It will also contribute to maintaining operations at full capacity and ensuring the sustainability of services provided to residents under these dire circumstances.
